Businesswomen given a flying start

THE NUMBER of successful female entrepreneurs in Britain was given a boost when over 30 women across Yorkshire and Humberside were selected to join an intensive course helping them to launch their own businesses.

The ‘Flying Start Programme’, a creation of the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship (NCGE), took place in Sheffield last week at The Aston Hall Hotel near Sheffield.

The course followed the success of the first Flying Start Programme for Women in Yorkshire earlier this January which saw 1,200 women competed for 60 places, demonstrating female graduate’s strong interest to own a business.
