Last year at Thrive 2012 (have you checked out Thrive 2013 yet?!) we decided to do something a bit different. Rather than running a conference where all the speakers had made millions and squillions of dollars, I wanted to inspire the audience with some of YOUR stories. Women from our own commmunity who had started up their own businesses and had come along to our workshops and events. Women who had made the leap of faith and jumped into their new venture with anticipation, fear, excitement and hope. We had ... Read More »

Why blogging? So I did a little bit of investigation and figured out what the answer was and in this video I share with you a quick behind the scenes look at how you can give and get endorsements for better keywords. I think the endorsement function of LinkedIn is a great and simple addition to what is already ... Read More »

Their secret to success is not a secret and there is some great advice and wisdom in this video. I hope you enjoy it! Read More »

Sheryl Sandberg: Why there are too few women leaders
I first saw this during the TED Women event back in December 2010 and thought it was amazing. So have decided to put it up here on the Women Unlimited website. I hope you enjoy it. Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg looks at why a smaller percentage of women than men reach the top of their professions — and offers 3 powerful pieces of advice to women aiming for the C-suite. Long before Sheryl Sandberg left Google to join Facebook as its Chief Operating Officer in 2008, she was a fan. ... Read More »
