The awards are being hosted by Women into the Network Ltd (WIN Ltd), a new membership organisation led by female entrepreneurs, dedicated to supporting, connecting and promoting women in business. The purpose of the awards is to raise the profile of female business leaders in the North east and acknowledge the contribution they have made to the economy in the area. Businesses based in Durham and Wearside, Tees Valley, Tyneside and Northumberland are eligible.
