Women Unlimited have put together an amazing lineup for our second annual conference for International Women’s Day.  This day is all about you.  It’s about providing inspiration, motivation, excitement, connection and opportunity.  International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate our bravery, celebrate our successes, and celebrate each other.  This year we encourage you to use this as an opportunity to look to the future and create the business that you want.

This year’s theme is called Stepping into Success.  It’s about creating action that generates results.  It’s about deciding that you are worth investing in.  And it’s about enjoying the journey.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:

Liz Warom: Founder and CEO of Temple Spa

This year we are thrilled to welcome Liz Warom the founder of Temple Spa. Liz will share some of her story and undoubtedly inspire us with her enthusiasm, wit and anecdotes drawn from her many and varied experiences.    Prior to launching Temple Spa, Liz worked with Richard Branson to launch Virgin Vie and worked closely with Anita Roddick at the Body Shop.  Come along and hear all about Liz’s journey and we guarantee that you will come away inspired.

Emma Wimhurst: Author of Boom!

Seven Steps to Success.  Emma was the founder of Diva Cosmetics.  She created bespoke cosmetic packages for big name brands like BHS, Asda and Claires Accessories after she saw a gap in the market.  Emma has now written the book BOOM! which outlines her seven steps to Success and how you can accelerate your business.

Camila Batmanghelidjh: The Kids Company

Building a business with a conscience.  Camila Batmanghelidjh is the founder of two children charities – The Place 2 Be (now national) and Kids Company, where she currently works with some of the most traumatised young people living in London. Her story is an amazing one of overcoming adversity to creating an organisation that makes a difference every day.  Prepare to be inspired.

Rebecca Harding: Founder and MD of Delta Economics and independent economist.

Rebecca is the woman behind all the reports in the UK that relate to female entrepreneurship including a couple of her most recent ones on Women and access to finance and the Greater Return on Women’s Enterprise Report (GROWE).  Rebecca will be discussing the state of women’s enteprise in the UK and what we can do to help.

This year we are also going to be running a series of mini-workshops on a number of topics including:

Getting your PR Right: This masterclass is being run by Diana Soltmann of Flagship Consulting, a top 50 PR Firm. Diana regularly runs our Grabbing the Headlines workshop and will share her expertise on how you can use PR for your business.

Stand up and Stand out: Lynne Parker of Funny Women is running a condensed version of her amazing workshop on how to use humour in business and as a way of expressing yourself. This masterclass promises to explore how a humorous approach to business can empower you

The Keys To Successfully Launching A New Idea:
Cally Robson, Founder of She’s Ingenious! , will share some handy takeaways on the things every business owner should build into their idea to make sure it’s a winner. Advanced networking masterclass
: Alessandra Alonso of Shine People and Places will share with you her tips and advice for taking your networking to the next level. She will be discussing how to achieve maximum imipact at every networking event you go to.


PANEL SESSION:

No business conference would be complete without giving you a chance to engage with some successful female business owners.
