The networking…

Now, imagine if you could put together your perfect table of female entrepreneurs to give you advice for your business. Who would you invite? These are our picks and we would like to invite you to come along and engage and network with these fantastic ladies. They are all leaders in their market sectors and will each be hosting a table. This means, you will have the chance to dine and engage with one of these entrepreneurs on a personal level. What are you going to talk about? You decide!

If your first choice entrepreneur is sold out, you will be able to request your second and third choice of entrepreneur and we will try to accommodate your choice as best we can. There will also be open networking with the entrepreneurs before and after the meal, so you will still have a chance to meet with all of the entrepreneurs at this time. We suggest an early arrival to give yourself maximum networking time.

The speaker

Sue Stockdale, the author of Secrets of Successful Women Entrepreneurs: How Ten Leading Business Women Turned a Good Idea into a Fortune will also be sharing with us her learning from interviewing the female entpreneurs in her book.

New Entrepreneurs

Our original lineup sold out two weeks ago.  So we have decided to open up another table.  We have the amazing Gita Patel, founder of Stargate Capital (she also spoke for us at our launch event last year) and Laura Tenison from JoJo Maman Bebe.  We expect these new seats will go quickly, so make sure you book quickly if you would like to join us.

Many thanks to the Business and IP Centre at the British Library for supporting this fantastic event

  1. The everywoman Conference is also taking place in London on this day – so the great news is you could do both!

Inspirational speakers, masterclasses (on creative thinking, leadership style, creating plans to promote your business and raising your online profile). And of course you will be able to network and share ideas with over 300 like-minded business owners. All in plush surroundings at the Hotel Russell.

    (Exhibition opportunities are also available).

  2. All the events sound fantastic and great opportunities to meet new people and network as well as picking up some great advice. However the fact that all the events are held in london excludes a lot of people. I for one can not get to london, as single mom with a heavy workload and very busy life can not drop everything to get a meeting which is often out of normal business hours and held 300 miles away. So what help is if you held live or recorded web seminars which we watch in our own time and a delegate list of people attending so we could connect through emails etc.

    Thanks for you time

  3. Hi Samantha,

There are events going on all over the UK on Women’s Enterprise Day (November 18th 2009) as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

If you register on http://www.gew.org.uk you’ll be able to search for events in your area.

    I hope this is helpful.

    Sarah
